Throughout his career, Dr. Richard has relentlessly pursued continuing education, integrating newer and better technologies while maintaining a “High Touch” practice style. He has taken care of thousands of smiles in Portland since opening his practice over 30 years ago.
Dr. Richard is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
First impressions are important! In addition to our cosmetic dentistry services, we are proud to now offer our patients in need of braces this service.
Though braces can enhance a smile at any age, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7. At this early age, orthodontic treatment (braces) may not be necessary, but an examination can anticipate the best time to begin treatment.
Though many associate braces and orthodontics solely with children, we perform many orthodontic services for adults as well. No matter what your age, we can likely help you to a more confident, healthy smile.
