Dr. Mark Rodman has worked and trained extensively to build a practice that provides personzlized dental care that will exceed your expectations.
He consistently brings state of the art treatment options by keeping himself and staff educated on the latest advances in dentistry and available techniques.
Dr. Rodman is part of a 30-year residence in Portland for dental comfort and care. He is a graduate of the Oregon Health and Sciences University, and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses in all areas of dentistry; including cosmetic, endodontic, periodontic, implant and prosthetic dentistry.
Dr. Rodman is a member of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association. He is also a fellow member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Joseph Young grew up in the Portland area, the third of six kids.He received his degree in biology from Brigham Young University in Idaho, going on to attain his dental degree at Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry.While at OHSU, Dr. Young won multiple research awards, re-founded the service based fraternity XI PSI PHI, and took home the senior award for excellence in
Orthodontics at graduation.
After dental school, Dr. Young was selected for a competitive general practice residency at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, studying advanced surgical and restorative dental techniques. His passion for dentistry has led him to complete hundreds of hours of courses in postgraduate work and maintain memberships in the American Dental Association and Oregon Dental Association.
When Dr. Young is not practicing his passion of dentistry, he spends most of his time with his lovely wife and four children. He also enjoys spending time camping, hiking, and cycling, as well as volunteering his time and talent with the Special Olympics summer games each year performing dental screenings.
Alma has been in the medical industry for nine years, and as a dental hygienist for the past three years. She is a graduate of Pacific University with a Bachelors degree in Dental Health Science. In addition to running and crossfit, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and nephews, reading and speding time outdoors. Alma is also fluent in Spanish.
As our Front Office Administrator and EFDA Dental Assistant, Ricky is the first person whom you’ll meet when visiting the Woodburn Community Dental practice. His favorite part of the job is the interaction with the patients, exclaiming “we have a fun office and enjoy working together as a team. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable, please let us know.” Ricky is also fluent in Spanish.
Ana is our Lead Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She has worked in Orthodontic, Pedodontic and General Surgeon offices since 1999. She grew up in Woodburn and is married with two children. She is fluent in Spanish.
